Ronanto Interactive ("we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you visit our website at ronanto.com or play our mobile applications, including our Android game AurenLife (package name: com.ronantointeractive.aurenlife).

1. Summary of Core Principles

We believe that games should respect player privacy by default:

  • No User Accounts: You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal details (such as your name, email, or phone number) to play AurenLife.
  • Local-Only Save Storage: All your gameplay progress, character choices, financial portfolios, and timeline history stay entirely on your device. We do not store or transmit your game saves to remote studio servers.
  • No Payment Details Collected by Us: All optional in-app purchases are handled securely and directly by Google Play In-App Billing. We never receive or store your credit card or financial details.
  • Transparent Advertising: If advertising is enabled in the game, it is served through Google AdMob, which uses standard mobile advertising identifiers to present and measure ads according to your device preferences.

2. AurenLife Mobile Game Data Practices

Local-Only Game Save Storage

AurenLife is designed with local-first architecture. When you play, the game generates and stores your character data, lifespan statistics, relationships, assets, career records, business operations, and Time Machine year snapshots strictly in private local storage on your physical device (via internal app storage and standard PlayerPreferences).

We operate no remote game servers to sync, read, collect, or store your game saves. You have absolute ownership and control over your save data: you can delete individual lives within the game's menu, or delete all saved data instantly by clearing app data or uninstalling the application via your Android system settings.

Advertising via Google AdMob

AurenLife integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to serve in-game advertisements (such as banner, interstitial, or rewarded video ads).

To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob automatically collects and processes certain technical and device data, which may include:

  • Google Advertising ID (AAID): A unique, user-resettable identifier provided by Android used for advertising and frequency capping.
  • Device & Network Information: Device make and model, operating system version, screen dimensions, mobile carrier, language settings, and general IP address (used to determine coarse geographic location for regionally relevant ads).
  • Performance & Diagnostic Data: Ad impression events, click activity, video playback completion, diagnostic logs, and signals for fraud prevention and anti-abuse detection.

Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads & Your Controls: Depending on your location and applicable privacy regulations (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA/CPRA in California), you may be presented with consent choices regarding ad personalization. Furthermore, you can control or disable ad personalization on your Android device at any time:

  • On Android 12 and newer: Open Settings > Google > Ads and tap Delete advertising ID to remove access to your advertising identifier across apps.
  • On earlier Android versions: Open Settings > Google > Ads and enable Opt out of Ads Personalization, or tap Reset advertising ID.

Optional Ad-Free Experience: Players can also choose to purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase within AurenLife to permanently suppress third-party advertisements.

In-App Purchases via Google Play Billing

AurenLife offers optional digital in-app purchases (store content packs: Custom Mode, Time Machine, Advanced Finance, Remove Ads, Power Passport, Starter Cash, and Magic Wrench).

All purchases are processed exclusively through the official Google Play In-App Billing API (com.android.vending.BILLING). Ronanto Interactive does not collect, receive, process, or store credit card numbers, debit cards, bank account details, or billing addresses.

Google securely handles the payment transaction and provides our application only with cryptographic purchase confirmation tokens to verify the entitlement and unlock your purchased features locally on your device. All transactions are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

Device Permissions

AurenLife requires only standard technical permissions necessary for gameplay and connected services:

  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required to communicate with Google AdMob for ad delivery and Google Play for digital purchase validation.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to verify active network connectivity before requesting ads or verifying purchase states.
  • com.android.vending.BILLING: Required to execute in-app store transactions through Google Play.

The game does not request or access sensitive device permissions such as precise GPS location, contacts, phone calls, camera, microphone, or external media storage outside the application's private sandbox.

3. Website Data Practices (ronanto.com)

The website ronanto.com is a static informational site:

  • No Tracking Cookies: The website does not set tracking cookies, use web beacons, or embed third-party analytics scripts.
  • Server Logs: When you access any website, your browser transmits standard technical data to the hosting server (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and request timestamps). These logs are maintained temporarily by the web hosting provider solely for operational monitoring, DDoS defense, and infrastructure troubleshooting, and are never used to build personal user profiles.

4. Children's Privacy

Both our website and AurenLife are intended for a general audience (individuals aged 13 and older, or 16 and older in jurisdictions where local law requires a higher age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal information from children under 13 years of age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us or that personal data has been inadvertently collected, please contact us immediately so we can expeditiously remove and delete the data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because game save files and preferences in AurenLife are stored strictly on your local device, all save data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can erase all game data at any time by clearing the application data in Android settings or by uninstalling the application.

Data processed by third-party providers (such as Google AdMob and Google Play) is retained and managed under Google's respective data retention policies and your account settings with Google.

6. User Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may hold statutory privacy rights, including:

  • The right to know what personal data is processed and to request access.
  • The right to request the deletion or correction of personal data.
  • The right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (which can be exercised directly through your Android device's Advertising ID settings as detailed in Section 2).
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
